On Saturday, 22 February, the Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering at the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) hosted a new edition of the FIRST Lego League Challenge, an event where young talents put their robotics and innovation skills to the test.
With the participation of 34 teams and 300 young people aged 10 to 16, the competition was a major success, attracting nearly 1,000 people, including participants, coaches, and visitors.
As an event partner, SOME presented the SOME Award for Robot Behaviour, which recognises the team with the highest score in the robot construction challenge. This year, the award went to Enginy Robòtic Club from Tona, who also secured second place in the overall ranking.
The event featured the support of various companies and institutions, reinforcing a strong commitment to STEAM education and the promotion of technological vocations among young people.
