SOME travels to China to connect with the future of Industry 4.0 and AI
The company takes part in a mission organised by ACCIÓ alongside 14 Catalan companies to learn firsthand about the most innovative practices in robotics and artificial intelligence.
SOME has participated in a business mission to China organised by ACCIÓ, together with 13 other Catalan companies and entities, with the aim of gaining first-hand insight into the Industry 4.0 ecosystem of the Asian giant. Shenzhen, Shanghai and Suzhou were the stops on an intensive itinerary focused on exploring best practices, emerging technologies, and potential collaborations in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence.
Representing SOME, Toni Sierra, the company's CIO, joined the visit.
Among the most notable visits, the team explored the Seeed Studio-Agile Manufacturing Center, the E-Hub in Shenzhen, and companies such as Tencent, BYD and Ubtech Robotics. They also had the opportunity to visit the Zhangjiang AI Robot Valley in Shanghai and exchange experiences with Chinese companies at the Suzhou Industrial Park.
This initiative has enabled SOME to draw inspiration from cutting-edge technologies. The goal: to continue transforming our processes and services through digitalisation, artificial intelligence and robotics, in line with the company’s commitment to innovation and industrial competitiveness.
