Hexagon Absolute Scanner for the new SOME Industrial lab
The industrial group, an expert in sheet metal processing, acquires an Absolute Arm for 3D measuring and scanning.
3D measuring arms allow measurements to be taken directly in the production environment, improving manufacturing processes as a result. In addition, the seven axes of the Hexagon ABS ARM 8335 give it unlimited modularity and versatility for the measurement of objects of any size or shape.
The flexibility of the articulated arm is matched by the precision of the unrivalled Absolute Scanner AS1, which is fitted to the wrist of the Absolute Arm for easy, high-speed digitisation of surfaces and structures.
With this investment, SOME places its division specialising in services for industrial sectors on the path towards ever greater efficiency and innovation.
