SOME Industrial, the division specialising in customised services for industrial sectors, is bolstering its competitive strategy with the Fronius collaborative welding robot.
The collaborative robot installed at SOME, also known as a “cobot”, has two workstations to save time and boost output. It allows for a high level of flexibility in terms of the size and geometry of the components to be welded, a feature that enables SOME to make agile production series changes.
Fronius is a leading welding machines and solutions company. For more than 75 years, the Austrian company has been providing innovation and value with its versatile and robust product range.
The CMT (cold metal transfer) process differs from conventional MIG/MAG welding due to its low heat input and very stable arc. The Fronius CMT welding process enables us to achieve optimum results when joining different materials, for example steel and aluminium.
